Winter is coming... To Norway, FINALLY..

Today it was time to put on a sweater, we hit -20 celsius in my hometown today. A bit further north we hit -36 celsius, not insane temperatures, but winter is here, at last. Now if we had some snow everything would be perfect.

We just had snow fall here in Nordjylland - Denmark 15:00 local time.

We got our first snow few days ago here in southern Finland. It was quite cold today walking without woolly hat and gloves in -15 celsius.

Lots of snow in the higher areas, at least it's enough to go skiing. But of course, the winter is still young and we should get more in the lower regions as well.

Yeah, Sjusjøen and Skeikampen have snow.. but I want snow around Mjøsa.. NOW ;) I wanna play..

We have about and inch here in eastern (southish) Norway.. It's weird how cold -20 is when there's no snow..

You don't have to go that far really, anything above 400-500 metres have snow. I drove through Snertingdalen this saturday and there was plenty of snow there.

I only need to go up to Gåsbu here.. 250-300 metres above sea level. Redalen have a bit of snow as well. But I want snow in right smack in my backyard :) Har smurt langrennsskia for en fjelltur til helga ;)
